Dan Stanley is a husband and a father. He is a retired, award-winning senior army commando, a former national sporting champion and the author of Amazon bestseller, Rethinking Masculinity: A modern man’s Guide to succeeding in Life; a book that illustrates and challenges the dysfunction of modern-day masculinity.
In 2017, despite significant external successes, Dan experienced a midlife crisis; it nearly cost him his sanity and marriage but the adversity he experienced proved the catalyst for him changing his life’s trajectory. Now, Dan is an expert in men’s development and performance and is the founder of BetterMen, a coaching practice working exclusively with men.
Dan has enabled clients to improve their wellbeing, relationships and work life balance; to change or re-ignite their careers, to increase the profitability of their businesses, sharpen their leadership levels, save their marriages and exit businesses for 7 and 8 figures, and even gain investment in the BBC's Dragons Den.
Additionally, he is the facilitator of Men & Mountains, a men’s walking community with hundreds of members from across the UK and a wellbeing ambassador for Project RECCE, a veteran’s charity, and is a contributor to national publications such as Men’s Fitness and Muscle & Health Magazine.
